Bubba Gump

We've been gorging ourselves with seafood and thai food since the children's school holidays and i thought it would be nice to have his birthday meal at a place we've never been before, crowd-less and a bit different than the places we usually goes to.   Off we went to the Curve on 3rd Jan, to celebrate his birthday and gave Bubba Gump a try.  Adik was very hesitant, he doesn't like eating places that sells alcoholic  beverages or no Halal Certificate displayed.  I told him we were just going to have a bit of seafood and some fancy shmancy Hollywood merchandising experience... he didn't get the last bit cos he was too small (still is!) when the film hit box-office at the cinemas.

The food was good, and in good portions too. We ordered the Shrimper's Net Catch, Onion Rings, Calamari Rings and some fries. Most of it came with few types of dips and cabbages.

The towering Onion Rings! For about RM15 it could well serves 3-4 people.  Came with 2 dippin' sauces and lotsa cabbages! I personally liked it very much and might just came here for these rings :)

The Shrimper's Net Catch, and ordered the 3/4 lb.  My children's fav!  Of course, its just large sized shrimps sauteed in Garlic Spice (heh heh.. garlic+butter+herbs) and some lemon juice on top! yum!
